About
In love with nature and kids!
Tamsin has worn many hats as a sculptor, community artist, landscape architect, tutor/lecturer, meditation retreat coordinator and is the mother of two grown-ups. Becoming a grandmother has been life’s richest dessert and has inspired Tamsin to work in service to children and their future, rolling all her skills and experience into Hands Down.
With a BA in Fine Art, Tamsin later gained a Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture and she worked in that industry for twenty-five years, designing gardens and open space. In recent years Tamsin has worked in the “nature play” arena, offering programs for children, events for families and design workshops or seminars for adults, mainly through local government organisations.
As a spiritual seeker and nature lover, Tamsin can be found at gospel choirs, meditation retreats, walking in nature and wild swimming. Her favourite pastime is sharing a nature adventure in the bush or at the beach with her grand-daughter. And adding to her collection of natural loose parts!
